This is the TriCollege ARK resolver. What is an ARK? Think of it like a permanent address. According to arks.org, "Archival Resource Keys (ARKs) serve as persistent identifiers, or stable, trusted references for information objects. Among other things, they aim to be web addresses (URLs) that don’t return 404 Page Not Found errors."
We currenlty use ARKs for collection guides in our special collections.
Under normal usage you will not see this page, but rather visit a url such as "https://resolver.tricolib.brynmawr.edu/ark:/37966/identifier_here" and be redirected to the corresponding digital object.
